Rewards From Him

Psalm 127: 3
Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him.

Psalms 139: 13-16
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

We've Been Busy

We have been really busy lately, and I am finally getting a chance to post some of the things that have been going on around our house lately.
First off, we took a trip to Panera Bagels, and met our friend Mike for lunch. It was our first time taking the twins to a resturaunt, and it was a success! While we all ate lunch, the twins munched on puffed cereal, and Biter Buscuits. The buscuits were incredibly messy, and guess what mommy forgot..bibs. The twins were such a mess after that! It is always interesting taking them out, because there are so many people that talk to us, stare at us, point at us. I have met some interesting people lately.

Also, I am officially addicted to Yard Sales! I can't stop myself. The deals are unbelievable. We were low on toys, and the twins were spending most of thier days a little bored. Matt and I were dicussing new toys, but when we went to Toys-R-Us, one play table was forty bucks. We left with nothing because we thought that was crazy. Well, I got that table, plus two other ones, two push/ride toys, and a couple of small toys for $22.oo. We forgot something at the Yard Sale when we left, and when we went back to get it, the woman let us pick anything we wanted for FREE. She wouldn't even let us pay her! What a blessing!

We spent today at Grandma Anderson's swimming in her blow up pool, and the twins had a ball. Guess what I forgot...the camera! Tomorrow we are off to Grandma Perini's to help her clean for her big "Father's Day Bash" on Sunday. It should be tons of fun. The twins will be swamped with hugs and kisses from all of thier grandparents, one great grandma, and an uncle. We'll see how it goes.

Also, and this is the most exciting one to me, Jack has been sleeping through the night lately. Not every night, but most nights he sleeps all night unless he gets stuck on his belly. Sometimes he likes to belly sleep, and other times he doesn't. Now if I could just get Sophie on board it would be amazing! Will all of my new found sleep, I have been walking like crazy. The twins and I go for an hour walk everyday, and they really seem to enjoy it. We always see a little old couple who say hi, and coo all over them.

One last thing, Sophie's surgery has been postponed until August 19th. This may actually be better, as it falls after the great big Franier Family Reunion. So I guess maybe just prayers that it doesn't get put off any longer than this. The sooner we get her fixed, the sooner she can be off of her medicine. Thanks for all the prayers everone has already sent for our little girl(and our little boy)!

Voting is Closed!

So we have a crawler on our hands! Last Friday, Jack took his first official crawls. It was so exciting! Matt I stood around him and cheered him on. Now, he can get anywhere and do anything. Which is good and bad! He gets to any toy he wants, but he also gets into trouble! HAHA! He also learned how to go from his belly to sitting on Friday, so he can crawl to somewhere, then sit up and play. Sophie is not a fan of tummy time, but she does crawl in a 360 degree circle. I think once she sees Jack crawling, she will want to go too. Man, my little babies are gone!

Eight Great Months

Eight months! Yay! Those of you who voted for Sophie to crawl first may want to change your votes. Jack is so close it is scary. He has crawled one or two crawls, but he just doesn't quite know what he is doing yet. I can't imagine him crawling. He is going to be even more of a mess than he already is! Talk about trouble. That's Jack's middle name! Finally both babies are sleeping much better at night. They dropped a feeding a few weeks ago so that they only get up once in the wee hours of the morning. I feel like a new person! Now, if I could just get them to take naps longer than 45 minutes. It happens every once in a blue moon, but nothing consitent. We might be seeing some teeth soon, but I have been saying that since about three months, so who knows. I am OK to wait on teeth. As always, we are so blessed to have these two little ones in our lives. I can't even remember a time when they weren't here.

Jack was kicking Sophie in this picture, and she decided she needed to yell at him, hence the face. She cries everytime he TOUCHES her. Aren't they too young for that? He is really agressive though, and during this "photoshoot" he climbed on top of her, pushed her over, and her head hit the wall. Humm....do I have a baby bully on my hands?
